Default Fan problems

The search for me is not working at all, I need to know how to test the fan to see if it works or not.

in the car or outside? inside, hook it up to the harness and see if it turns on when you get to temp. outside, wire two lines from the battery to the fan to see if it spins.*

*might be giving the fan more power then it is made for so don't do it to long.

ps. which fan? radiator or ac?

It's the radiator fan, what type of wires do I use to test it?

to test it all you have to do is splice into the posative and ground wire.. just put the posative to the battery. Regular speaker wire should do fine.
