Re: EK vs. EG
I last posted and said EK. But since have changed my mind. I think EG hatch or coupe is where its at for a track/weekend car. EK's would make great daily drivers!!

Re: EK vs. EG
I have both the ej8 and eg hatch, and imo, my ej feels way better, both had the same gsr engine and I feel my ej way bettrr. The eg hatch is sexy but my ej just looks so good. Handling wise I say my ej handles better to

Re: EK vs. EG
To be honest, this thread isn't going to get you anywhere. Both cars have tons of potential. They've been played out so many times that you can set one up in more ways than you can imagine with a stupid amount of aftermarket support. Get what you like the most. I vote EK, but I drive a del sol (eg1) that i don't think i can ever part with. Hence the reason one is not better than the other.

Re: EK vs. EG
find a cheap Eg cx (if you get a 92 they are wired for everything, no jumper harnesses needed, just get a vtec or ls engine harness)... than do a dohc swap, get sway bars and control arms out of the junkyard off of an ex, put some decent springs under it, and you can usually do all of this for the price of an ek, thats all i did and i love it, and who can hate on the way the hatch opens on an eg.

Re: EK vs. EG
Search around a little bit, was annoying that the following words were to small to search tho "EK, vs., EG" but couldn't really find what I was looking for.
Anyway, selling my 95 hatch for $3,000 and now I'm stuck with the decision of if I should buy another EG or try out EK's. I've heard that EG's are more compatible with more things and the bay is bigger for stuff and such. It's kinda been back and fourth.
So what do you guys think, EK or EG?

Re: EK vs. EG
i like the EGs because they're lightweight, and since I drive the sedan, of course i'll have some pride for it. but i've always wanted an EK9 to tinker with so 1up for EK.
