to get it to fit my friends EJ the cupholder console itself, and not the plastic surrounding had to be cut, but it looked nice tho. also the whole thing is a bit long so you might have to make new screw holes.

why not just get the 92-95 console and arm rest? imo it would look better. and it would fit better.

yeah i've thought of that.. but the 92-95 got those flimsy cupholders ..

^The 92-95 civic center console will go over/replace the flimsy cupholders you're talking about.

actually I have converted EG center console to EK console. You will need the mounts from the EK in order for the center console to be fasten down. And you will also need to modify (cut) your EG ashtray console in order for it to work properly. Let me find a pix for you

i'm doing the same thing, i find the eg center console to be a tad ugly...it looks like something from the early 90's.......

Does that cupholder thing fit in perfectly for the center console???? I don't want any gaps but i was thinking about just getting another cubby hole from the 99-00 Civic's... I'm guessing you guys found that on EBAY but would anyone happen to have a link????

its not just the cup holder that you will need. you will also need the armrest as well.

I do not have any pictures at the moment, but i just recently did this, and it fits rather well. You will need to trim, the cover thing, ill take some pics tomorrow.

imo id rather have flimsy cup holders than a flimsy ill fitting console. but thats just my opinion. plus i think it looks better. but to each his own. do what you like.
