So I just got a 92 Si and the whole ****in car was covered in duct tape, the dude that owned it before last had made his own decals out of duct tape. The guy that had it last got some of it off but not all. I have tryed all morning to get it off but they are still some residue left and and some spots it wont come off. Does anyone know a good way to get it off? Keep in mind its cold as hell outside soo, I dont know if that makes a diffrence or not. Anything will help! (Oh yea sorry if this is in the wrong spot, wasnt sure)

well a heat gun would help but u might have to buff some of that stuff off. i say goo gone or goo off. make sure u try it on a hidden spot to make sure it doesnt mess up ur paint...

nope goo off wont mess with the paint i just used it recently de badging my buddy car and nothing came off on the rag besides the 3m tape

try heating up alcohol mix with water to a worm temperature and with a rag or your finger it peals right off . Make sure you have soapy water to so you can rinse off the alcohol once you remove the scum .

i used this stuff at work. it is pk for paint but iti is some nasty stuff it is callecd 3m adhesive remover as far as i know it is not legal to sell in california

I used to work at a sign and decal shop. We used something called rapid remover, and we frequently used it on vehicles, never had any issues with paint damage even though it will turn your skin white and start to peel. I just don't know where you would be able to find it.
