I have a 2000 Civic and i recently installed a DNX 4-2-1 header and Magnaflow catalytic convertor and exhaust. Sounds pretty good but none of the donut gaskets i've tried to put on the header's collector will fit properly. The collector is 2 inches and a 2 inch donut gasket will not fit. I'm using a 2.25 gasket right now but i can still smell fumes and hear a small leak from under the car. Am i supposed to heat up a 2 inch gasket then install it? I've broken two 2 inch donut gaskets already...Help!!

well if the two inch donut gasket doesn't fit. something between the two isn't two inches. maybe it's 2.25.
