Do I have bad dizzy?

Do I have bad dizzy?
Alright guys.. So a couple days ago I heard weird scratching, scrapping noises coming from my dizzy. Like it's really obvious it's coming from there. When my car is warmed up it begins to do the same sound but in some instances it goes to high pitched kinda. My RPM jumps erratically as well. My car starts and runs and everything.. just when I'm driving .. my car like struggles..putters..RPM struggles to go up and it feels like my engine isn't getting power or like I'm running out of gas. I'm like 95% sure it's my dizzy. I'm probably due to replace it anyways.
ENGINE : JDM B16A 1st gen.
I ordered a new dizzy from ebay for like 90 bucks including shipping.

Did I order the correct dizzy? Please I'd like to know LOL.
(I'm new to the car scene but I am slowly but surely learning)
...Is replacing my dizzy cake? I see that there is a few bolts holding it in place..
Please I'd like everyones input... reason I'm making this topic is because I'd like reassurance and just to make sure that is all.
Thanks!!

Re: Do I have bad dizzy?
I just replaced my gasket, set my valves/pistons to TDC. forgot to set dizzy to right timing. I test drive it out and have barely any power, I can barely get going from stoplights. I come back and set the dizzy timing and all is right with the world.
Try first ... getting a timing light and testing your timing and see if the dizzy only needs adjustment or go to a junk yard and get one and pray it works.
