(IMG:http://i176.photobucket.com/albums/w...n/GEDC0660.jpg)
then put the sticker on it with a little bit of soapy water and take the bubbles off
and put it together
(IMG:http://i176.photobucket.com/albums/w...n/GEDC0663.jpg)

if you dont want to get the sticker made, get a peice of cardboard, draw the outline and cut appropriately, and place it where the sticker is.
perhaps even using a few layers of cardboard stuck together so the light doesnt seap through.

I think that might work a bit better if you use a reflective sticker. Won't seep through any way. IMO, it would be cool for the trunk lights and hatch lights. Just looks generic in that one. Good idea though!

No, it's in a coupe. It's a third brake. Look at the picture. I am talking about the s2000 type of trunk lights. Or the top hatch lights.

OP, I think what you did here was a great idea. Not only did you replicate the OEM JDM Honda Access optional 3rd brake light with the correct font, but you did it without resorting to making your 3rd brake light blue ... which is totally inappropriate (not to mention not legal) for here in North America.
I think what you did basically imitates what Honda might have hypothetically offered as an OEM option, if they had offered an option like that in North America for a dressed up Coupe 3rd brake light. Very clever, and cleanly done.

I see that so far your posts are only asking about part numbers.
First, I want you to know that you don't need a part number to order a part.
Second, the red third brake light is a factory part on the '92-'95 US Honda Civics. If you were to go to Honda they would get you the part. You don't even need the part number. You just say, "I have a (year) Honda Civic (body style). I need a third brake light assembly." And then they'll get it for you.
The blue third brake light comes from overseas and you'll have to get it from a company that sells parts from Japan. A part number won't help since very very few companies like that use Honda part numbers.
Your other post in another thread was for the fog light switch. At one point you could get fog light switches for '92-'95 Civics here in the US. Since it was an optional part you probably can no longer get one straight from Honda. This is normal for Honda's optional parts. After a few years they stop making them and then the only inventory left is just what they have. So eventually that stock gets sold off and there is no more. Even if you have a part number, you're not ordering it from any US dealership.
In the end, part numbers by and large do not help the average Honda enthusiast with buying parts.

I did almsot the same yet i used black duck tape, lol. it came out nearly the same yet my font is smaller than what yours looks like. none the less, it looks great and i think the civic should have had this as an option. Why are we always left out of the good stuff from japan??...
