directional blinker color changing bulbs
A long while ago there was an ad something in superstreet of these bulbs for the corner lights (blinkers) that where white but when you turned on your blinker it turned amber. anyone know where to get those?

I've heard of those but I only know about silvervision. Take some regular amber bulbs and do a very light spray of high temp silver paint on them. This will take away the amber color when off but not when on.

this one ain't the best b/c camera was below cutoff for the HIDs
philips makes a silver colored bulb (silvervision) but it is only made in single filament - our honda's use dual filament bulbs. i purchased these from....yes, APC (even tho i swore I would never rice out my car
oh well). They are called "titans" & you can get them in a variety of colors - i chose amber (lit up), off they have a titanium chrome finish

sylvania silverstar 1156!
they have this wierd sunglasses tint on them that makes them look silver when off, and amber when lit. i have them. you can get them at checkers (kragen)
