Default Del Sol 93 not starting

Bought a 93 Del Sol 1.6L Auto transmission. Bought as a project. Have replaced ECU, relay, wires and plugs, dizzy, and Valve Cover gasket. Car has good spark, compression seems to be okay, wiring has been checket, and it still will not start. It tries to and when you pump gas it ignites (or sounds like it) and then smoke comes out of the air filter. Only happens when you pump the gas pedal. I am stumped. No CEL at all. Anyone have any ideas what to do next?

Ok had a moron moment when I realized I had the wires plugged in wrong but still no kick over. Cranks really well just will not start. Drained all old fuel just in case and have no change. Any ideas would be a great help.

Is the fuel pump priming (should hear it behind seat when you open switch)?
Have you checked your main relay is working properly (should click twice when you turn the ignition to the on position)?
Checked the ecu fuse in the engine bay?
Checked your grounds especially if engine bay was painted ?
Maybe the motor is choked to much gas ?

Fuel pump is priming, main relay is new, ALL fuses are new, grounds are good. Is there a way to check if there is too much gas? I can wait a couple hours and it still does the same thing.

cracked header would not cause the car not to start.

Checked compression and have 0 compression in all cylinders. Don't have any idea whats wrong but guessing I need to take the heads off. No visible cracks in the block. made an odd sound on all but cylinder 2. Any ideas at this point will be a huge help. TIA!!!

have you checked the mechanical timing and timing belt? the belt could be broken, not turning the crank/cams. other option would be bent valves.

you only need to access the upper timing cover to confirm mechanical timing. this is on the drivers side of the car.

the flywheel is on the transmission side of the engine. you do not need access to this part at this time
