Re: (hondapimp69)
I realize allot of ppl, especially here prize there d16's, but I personally have never had a problem beating them(I mean RAPING them) in any form while NA. Never raced a boosted one so I dunno there.

Re: (hondapimp69)
tools like me huh? I think you should stay around here longer before you start throwing names around like a child. Since you have an allmighty 60 posts and all.
If you really must know heres whats done to my sol.
I/H/E, cams adjusted I+2(timing 17) E-2, cold plugs, wires, accel thundersport ignition, FPR, Bosch upgraded in-line pump. ACT stage 4 clutch w/ lightweight flywheel. NO a/c orpower steering. UO underdrive pully, AEM fuel rail. Apexi n1 coilovers, custom rear lower tie, and upper tie bars. custom front strut tie bar, polyurethane bushings(full set), progress camber kit, gab (13ibs)16X7 wheels w/ 215/40/16 falken tires.
Massive weight reduction, weighing in at a little over 2000(actually the weigh in @ the inspection said 1795, I think its a little off though) ibs including driver.

Nice dude....
I have no problem admitting defeat, its just has to be done first. The SOHC Sol that I raced many times had almost the same things done to it, not as much weight reduction though. Won by like a bus length... Its like they get the hole shot since I have major traction issues on the street, then about halfway through a 1/4 mile I just blast by. Yeah, and the dude get his panties in a bind, and sound allot like you but I've raced him 3 times and the same **** happens. He wont even race me anymore. He's not the only one, though there have been Many. I havent been out looking to race in a while and there are supposed to be a sol w/ a d16 and a turbo who wants to run me. Right now car is up on jacks installing new fuel lines and prepping for the turbo. I'll make sure to record that one first. Just like I said, once I get my save enough for a nice camera I'll post em.

ANYWAYS...
As far as ...
Without doing a swap i want to put a d16z6 at the same level that a b16.
he is it possible without using a turbo or nos?
if it´s possible what mods do i have to put.
I would probably recommend a good intake, really good header, and a mild exhaust to maintain backpressure. Then get some mild headwork done w/ a streetable cam and get something like hondata and have it tuned on a dyno. I would say you would be quicker than a stock b16. That just my input. Good luck on your motor buildup

Re: (TheShad0w)
you have alot of nothing done only real mods are I/H/E you messed with your timing a little, plugs, wires, FPR and underdrive pulleys dont really account for much if any horespower at all, and 1795 sol is BS, please show me that, what is it fiberglass? those cars are pigs
anyhow for the guy that the thread is for since you currently have a d16z6 best advice i can give you is get some Pm7 (zc) pistons for higher compression, zex 59300cam which is their stage 2 cam, get the valve springs and retainers also and mild headwork and an LS Obd-1 TB and port match your IM to the TB and either custom uberdata chip or hondata for tuning on the dyno and a raised revlimiter, should be able to spin it to 7500 and slightly higher without risking the stock internals, ive known guys with setups similar to this with proper tunning making 150-160whp its not uncommon
time for a shameless plug...
if you wanna learn more about the D's come over to http://www.sohchonda.com

You're arguing with a guy who isnt' that smart, you've got to spell it out, and use small words. It has to go like this,
he doesn't have to do much to a DOHC(his engine) to beat a SOHC(your engine). If you stay all motor, you won't win much.

Wow, this isn't gonna be daily driven, is it? N/A for under a grand? How reliable is it gonna be for you to have that high of a compression and rpm range to get 150whp on stock parts?
