Default d16y7 inter-changable with d16y8????

i'm working on a 00 civic non-vtec that spun a rod. i was wondering if i can use the d16y8 crank on the d16y7 block? any help would be greatly appreciated. i need this thing up and running by tomorrow. thanks

the bottom end of the y7 and the y8 are interchangeable so yes

thank you very much... thats all i wanted to hear! i was just worried about the oil pan being different. and didn't want to tear down the y8 just to check. thanks
