......d & b series power steering pumps.... (which are interchangeable ? ?)
I have a 1995 civic LX with stock motor.
My power steering pump is making a lot of noise and has fluids coming out of it.
I think I might need a new one.
My question:
1) Are all D series power steering pumps interchangable?
2) I got a free one but I'm not sure if it's off a EG or EK d series #P02653238Q

Is the hose that leads to the pump the same? They may not be and that may be the reason he retained the stock PS pump instead of using the one that came with the motor. I'm not sure, it's just a thought.

well he keep the stock eg d16z6 PS pump because the PS line from the B16a2 swap was cut.
thats what he told me.
But i think the fitting should be the same though...

it wont work, you can only use the d series 1. u can use the b series if you doing a b series swap
