OK update, I bought the USDM ITR Mirror glass from http://www.acuraautomotiveparts.org/...p/mws/home.jsp
and it fits the CTR housing. However, does anyone know if the 2001 USDM ITR mirror base (the part that bolts to the door) will bolt directly to a 98 EX door? Thanks again!

Can you show a picture of the CTR mirror with the ITR glass in it. Curious to see the fitment.

wow, fitment looks great. So just to make clear for other people looking for glass you used OEM USDM ITR glass right.

Yes sir that's correct. It is the glass from the 2001 USDM ITR. The internals also swap over but I didn't need to use those.

Hopefully this will clear up any debate as to what glass can be used!

Ok great, just to be curious did the 2001 USDM ITR had the option for heated mirrors?

Did you also swap the base of the mirror?

Um, to be honest I don't remember if it had the option for heated or not, but if you go to aautomotiveparts.org you can check. No I didn't swap out the bases, but I might in the future for a better fit (if it is indeed a better fit, I have yet to confirm that).

I swapped the bases because it changes the angle of the mirror. This way you can see as much as in a OEM mirror.
