Well back on topic.
I took my car into get an alignment this morning cause i am about to make a trip to Houston for the weekend. Turns out my steering / suspension needs some attention so is next on the list now. I will make a post later tonight listing all the things i need to fix. And on top of that the friggin cv joint boot is ripped already! WTF! GRRRRRRRRAARRRRR

I got UCA, Lower Ball Joint, and Ties for around $120 from a canadian shop on Ebay.
That was most of what I wanted to do, but now that i'm going that far, I'm putting in LCA and crossmember(?) bushings, and new boots for the used Manual rack.
Hey, maybe I met your Gpaw when I was like 3 and I took the tour lol.

[update]
Ok so i took it in to the shop yesterday to get the 4 wheel alignment. A couple hours later they call me and say they cannot do an alignment cause most of my suspention bushings are shot and a few other problems i will list.
First item is the steering rack. I already new it needed to be replaced cause it is leaking. Not allot but it is leaking and both boots are ripped.
Their price for a new rack "parts cost" is 194$ after the core charge refund.
Is this a good price? Can anyone recommend a place to get it cheaper?
I also need to replace the outer right side tie rod end.
Do the rod ends come with the little ball joint when you buy them new?
My lower left side control arm shaft and bushing R&R needs replacing. Their part price is 62$ is that a good price?
Both trailing arm bushings and both front lower control arm bushings are shot.
They price them at:
control arm bushing - lower - front suspension - I $38
control arm bushing - lower - front suspension - O $27
Trailing link Bushing - both - $116
I want to replace all the bushings with energy suspension bushings. so that one is covered. My question is how hard is it to replace these bushings?
They said both of my front rotors have some cracks starting? Has anyone ever heard of this happening? How quickly does it break on you?
They also looked at my radiator leak and found two cracks. so i will need to replace the rad. Can some one recommend a good one? Are the ebay ones worth the salt?
lastly they also noticed i have an oil leak coming from my crankshaft oil seal. Priced at $8 i'm not going to do anything other then oem on this one. I will do the timing belt and the water pump at the same time. Has anyone done this themselves? Is it very difficult?
the shops total labor was around 2G and the parts ran around 900. I know i can do most of this myself and greatly reduce the cost.
Please post if you have any knowledge or suggestions on these points!

The tierod should look like this: http://www.made-in-china.com/image/2...0-ER0-A01-.jpg so yes, it does come with that ball joint.
Check this thread out on how to replace the tie rod: https://honda-tech.com/forums/honda-civic-del-sol-1992-2000-1/faq-tie-rod-end-replacement-2333340/.
You will need an alignment after you do the tierod so don't take it in for a alignment until you fix it.

It takes some time to take them out if you have to cut them with a sawzaw. Otherwise putting the new ES ones is not that hard. You can have them pressed out if you don't want to do a lot of work cutting them.

Replace the rotors. You don't want running with them cracked. If they're cracked, they will break sooner or later so you better fix them now. You don't want to get into an accident or something because of them.

I don't have much experience with radiators but there were a lot of threads recently here about radiators. You can try searching and see what pops up. Some discuss the Ebay ones, others the mishimoto and so on.

Are you doing anything to justify a better radiator? Stock ones are hella cheap. Del Sol VTEC radiators are great performers and can be a good bang for the buck.

i'm using a CXRacing radiator from ebay. No complaints at all. In fact, it is awesome. The welds on it are clean. It looks nice, and my temp gauge actually stays slightly lower.

What you've done to this car is nothing short of miraculous. The car is soooo damn sweet! I really appreciate the step-by-step updates, with pictures, and with lessons learned. You've really inspired me.

Tell her she needs to pose like on the import tuner mags!
Back on topic:
Can anyone suggest a good steering rack? I have found two on the internets that supply re manufactured ones. one comes with a 3 yr warranty. Has anyone had bad luck with one?
