I don't think a 200whp civic could run a 13.2 at 120mph

As to my knowledge all Chevy V8's incuding the LS1 have only ONE cam. Ford's modular OHC motors have 2 or 4 cams....Is that what you are thinking about? If not then you better put on your flame suit.

Just wondering if you've had a chance to dyno yet? Interested to see how a RWD Civic weighing 2850 lbs would do w/the kinda power it puts out. Are you finished w/the engine? What are the plans?</TD></TR></TABLE>
dont talk, your not clearing things up. your actually making them worse.

Lol, yes my mistake. I assumed the LS1 was OHC, but I guess it's a pushrod engine then? Not sure, but I thought newer cars moved away from pushrods except the viper. With new camshaft technology it surprises me that they don't put it to use. Cool thing is that the viper actually has variable valve timing, which has greatly improved it's power throughout the whole powerband.

?...Just thought I'd let you know you're wrong on that one...I ran a 13.9 @98.99mph w/ 176whp on falken ziex's in my civic... with 200whp, you're looking at low 13's/high 12's @ 100-105mph.

exactly man......u proved my point!!!!
i said it wouldnt run a 13.2@120mph.....120mph!!!!
more like 105mph!!!!!!
my friends k20 swapped civic coupe did a 13.5 @ 103mph........not 120mph!
thats the difference in power and torque......
120mph is more like a mid 11 second pass with decent traction!!!
