Civic Type R
I don't know if this the right post to post this question. But here we go, well my question is a friend of mine is selling his car. He has a fully build LS/Vtec, EK hatch, repainted CW, 5 lug, amost a Type R replica. I got approve for a car loan, but the car was salvage. Since them it has been fix and running.
1. Do any of you guys have a salvage car finance?

Most banks will not finance a salvage car or a car older than 8 years/any 97 older models.
You need to go to a lending institution/bank that specializes in loans specifically.
BTW, being salvage they probably would only loan you a certain amount usually half what the car is worth in the Nada value. So if your car is worth $4500 in Nada, they give you maybe $2K.
You can try a personal loan, or cedit loan. Personal loan requires high credit rating of 650 or better, your total net worth has to be 3 times the value of the loan, income 28K year, and some sort of collateral.
The easiest to get would be a high credit line from a bank or credit card company. If you have excellent credit the interest rate would be about 9%, if poor credit it be 18% or higher.
So yeah basically your screwed. LOL...

I'd go for it, it's a hott piece of ek ***... but you'll eventually have to put the sidemarkers in, if you want to keep it CTRish... and PM me for the loan question, i've got a bunch of family members and friends that do loans i'll make a phone call and get you some info.
