progress.

Finally,

I need to clean my garage, too many projects going at once lol

Otherwise, I need to either source a new bumper (hidden crack under the driverside lip, or find a way to sufficiently repair it.

Past that, the engine is out along with the transmission, I'm going to *try* and have it rebuilt before winter.

To do: Engine bay scrub down, rust treatment (rust converter? grind down and re-prime?), Hood latch replacement, clean up of mounts, brackets, motor mounts, etc.

Really? Sand that **** and primer, black paint. Done, move on. Make sure you sand all the rust off or else it will continue to eat away behind the primer.

Yea was considering that, got down to looking at it closer the other day, it's not as deep as I had once thought and thus not an issue.

******* headlight bolt that mounts to the fender though is giving me hassle, I think it's going to end up snapping the headlight leg when I go to remove it... kinda pisses me off.

I need to contact my builder soon, get the block sent over and begin getting it cleaned up and ready to go before winter.

I hear you on that headlight bolt....I snapped the plastic on my headlight trying to take that 10mm off.

Mad props for working 2 projects at once.

Yea, its kinda a pain in the *** sometimes, but worth it, when one is stuck for awhile due to Money or just lead time on parts, I'll wrench on the other for awhile.

I've hit an impasse though, both are waiting on engine work
The 99 is MUCH closer to being done though so I'm prioritizing it over the 92'.
I'd like to have it running by spring for sure, but we'll see.

Blocks at the builder, full teardown and rebuild.
Likely upgrading to a slightly oversized p30 piston as well, otherwise largely OEM

Just bought a EM1 last month; sheared the driver side CV joint the following week. Ended up overhauling the entire suspension/braking system because rust was so bad. I went 5 lug with an ITR suspension/brake setup.

Nice, the eastwood chassis paint that I used isn't *bad* but it hasn't held up as well as I would have imagined.
I want to find something tougher, scrub them down again and paint it once more... those are about the only pieces that I'm concerned with rust on.

Got a call back from the Machinist on the B16, all looks surprisingly good for 180k miles.
The head was cleaned and dicked, valve landings re-cut as a couple of them weren't sealing properly.

I hope to have pics of them soon

It is :/
previous owner had some guy get shitty over a ******* hat, he kicked the fender.

I have an EBP replacement already, I'm going to install it once the engine is 100% back in.

The dented one?
Pff, sure.
It could easily be repaired, but I didn't want to F with it.

Sadly, the leg that holds the headlamp on is rusted solid (not the fender, but the bolt that attaches).

You better clean that block before you start putting stuff back on it

Sorry about the delay regarding the fenders, I want them bro.
Just trying to get caught up with some other $$ things.
