two good sites:
http://www.secureperformanceor...h.cfm
http://www.tirerack.com/brakes...s.jsp
i'm not sure if people will turn slotted rotors or not.my friend who runs a garage won't-don't know if that's just his policy or if there's a reason you can't.
i'd suggest just getting some good blank rotors like the Autozones-they can be had for less than the cost of turning a rotor usually.i know that's probably not what you want to hear because i'm sure the Bremboes cost you a lot,but the blanks will give you the best performance and like i said above, will probably be cheaper.

you dont have to "break in" new pads its not like a motor or anything just dont slam the brakes the first time you drive it. take the rotors to a machine shop or even a brake shop not sure where you live but by my house theres a clutch shop that will resuface anything if all else fails ask some one at your local parts store.

many pad manufacturers DO have a break in procedure that is much more than "just dont slam the brakes the first time you drive it".no reason not to follow their recommendations-especially if you're dealing with expensive pads and rotors.see the second link i posted above.

getting the rotors re-surfaced... I've always been told you can't re-surface slotted rotors
Bedding the pads is what it's called. one method I've heard... (cobalt pads)
1. using moderate pedal pressure, brake from 55-60 mph down to 15-20; repeat 4 to 6 times
2. allow pads to cool for 5-10 minutes with vehicle in motion; avoid using the brakes
3. repeat step 1 with hard pedal pressure, cool down for 10-15 minutes.
4. park vehicle without using e-brake until brakes are cooled.

Exactly, but if it's just a DD, doing the 'granny' procedure will work fine. If you're trying to get every last bit of stopping power, or you're using the brakes for competition, then you'd want to follow the 'stopping' procedure (i.e. several full stops from 30 then 60 etc...)
