Default Brake booster delete with 5 lug

Im looking to do a brake booster delete in my eg, but I'm doing a 5 lug conversion. What size master cylinder should I be looking into for it? All of the kits i have seen come with 7/16th, but the itr uses a 1". Anybody here have a delete with a 5 lug? Thanks in advance.

I'm running manual brakes its a lot of force to stop you will definitely have one strong right foot. but once your used to them it isn't bad

I'm not too worried about the comfort. I've read a bunch about it, and I'm cool with it. I'm just going to be driving it to car meets, and for weekend fun. I know the ITRs use a 1" mc, but everything I've read says that the bigger the mc, the more pressure it takes. Thats why all of the kits use smaller than 1". I'm just not too familiar with 5 lug brakes. How much would performance suffer if I ran a smaller mc (7/16th, etc) with something that is meant to use a 1". Thanks for a helpful response. Its much appreciated.

It doesn't matter how many lugs it is. It depends on the size of the piston and how far it needs to travel. Find the volume of fluid, how big the cylinder is, and how much the master cylinder will push out, and do the math to find the right size master cylinder.

I would suggest using a master cylinder from a 4cyl diesel car. They rely on the power steering pump instead of a brake booster.
