Default Brake booster for 93 civic cx

Hey guys I've done some searching and people have done some brake swaps and my booster is bad on my hatch the pedal goes all the way to the floor with applied pressure...so I can get ahold of a 94 ex brake booster would that wok on a brake system without rear disk? What other options do I have, other than a stock booster? Any comments or help is greatly appreciated...thanks in advance!

EX booster wont work unless its from a non ABS EX coupe. Any '92 - '95 Civic booster (as long as its non ABS) will work.

Orange connectors in the engine bay, big *** ABS box under the hood, ABS fuse panel in the engine bay, wheel sensors and in the case of '92 - '95 Civics rear discs (All '92 - '95 Civics with ABS had rear discs, but not all '92 - '95 Civics with rear discs had ABS) No DX models had ABS so you should be good there.

I have never had a brake booster go bad like that. When boosters fail the brake pedal is impossible to push. However when the master cylinder goes out it will fail the way you have described.

When my master went bad, I replaced the booster and the master from an Integra without ABS. It bolted right in without problems.

Pull the master cylinder off the booster and check the seal, it may be leaking there. You could have a leaky caliper, wheel cylinder or brake line too though. I don't see where anyone insulted you.

FSM tells how to diagnose the booster, but when booster went bad the brake pedal would get stiff after bleeding, but then as soon as I turned on the car, the pedal would go to the floor.
