which is better arp head studs, or golden eagle studs
i need opinions or a professional racers advice on which head studs to use. i have heard that arp goes way past the stock head bolts torque spec while golden eagle uses the stock torque spec. My car is a 99 civic si with a t-28 turbo running 10 lbs of boost and 14 lbs for race applications. my bottom end is solid with a micro polished crank, h-beams, and low comp pistons. my biggest concern now is clamping the head to the block. if anyone has advice please let me know. please dont give to biased an opinion.
thanks tom

I wouldn't hesitate to use either one, but the ARPs are the more popular choice. That seems like a pretty stout setup you have for what i would consider a small turbo setup. Are you planning on road race or Auto X??

Re: (Schister66)
more or less its a road slash 1/8 mile setup at 6lbs it makes about 300 bhp. so you would recommend either stud? do you know any specs for the golden eagle studs because quite a bit of my motor is golden eagle parts and i like their parts alot. but arp has got a better name out like you said.

Both companies have their strong points as i see it. Golden Eagle does make great parts overall, but ARP specializes more in studs, bolts, etc
If you've had good luck with Golden Eagle parts, then use them. At the end of the day, you'll still have a solid setup. You're not making enough power to have problems with head lift or anything.
