Default b18c5 problems!!!

throwing a cel 45 for fuel system too rich or too lean.

replaced convertor, pulled o2 sensors and cleaned... no light on for 2 days after that.
put new FPR in, no change.

map sensor is reading, i unplugged it and idle goes all over the map
just had exhaust repaired due to leak... no difference.

has anyone ran into this problem?!!

i need some adivce asap.

thanks

has anything been changed prior to this code being thrown? are you running a chipped ecu? are you running stock injectors ? is there a cylinder misfire present? maybe you have an injector problem try swapping out injectors see if that corrects the problem or put a screwdriver between your ear and the injector to see if the pulse is consistent for every cylinder

car is running a base mapped ecu... was running fine until last week... now the A/F gauge is just staying burried rich... so to me it seems like a sensor is going to default... but if that was the case it should set the light as soon as this happens.

i have an upstream o2 sensor on order for it to see if it will correct my problem.

possible causes are fuel related... which im running way too rich so i dont see it being that.
exhaust leak... i got that fixed
octane level lower than needed... i run 91 which is the highest we have here... with octane boost

the car runs fine once you are off idle... it bogs at idle and should be up around 1100 and its down at 800.

im thinking an o2 sensor but not sure.
