B18C5 Ek9 idle issue..
hey,
i have a 97 Civic Type R (EK9) and i have fitted a B18C5/R engine out of a 97 Integra Type R (DC2). I am using the factory CTR loom with ITR ecu.
BUT.. it has no cold start.
Have tested IAC valve.. ok.. cleaned ports out.
checked for power at IAC plug. Has battery voltage, checked Ecu plug.. has battery voltage.. BUT as soon as i plug in the IAC.. BAM.. no more voltage.. is all gone.. 0 Volts.. un-plug IAC.. Battery voltage.. plug back in.. 0 Volts..
have traced and checked power wire.. its ok.. apparently 0 volts means it is earthing somewhere..
ECU earths the IAC and that is what switches it on/off..
any ideas guys..
