Ahhhhh....I see why the WSII was louder for you. You ran it w/o a resonator (looks tight on youir EM1 BTW ).
Yes we both have resonators and OE style cats.

That's the major difference then, the owner of Inline4 told me if I got a cat it would perform like others claim it does.
Edit- Thank for the compliment.

I have no experience with the ES system, but plenty with both WS systems.
People love the WS systems because fitment is great, materials are good, price is decent and sound is tame.

RPM of 1 - 3 1/2 rpm not high RPM (4+)
maybe this would be easier to compare.</TD></TR></TABLE>
The WS system is quiet with cat and resonantor @ these rpm. Even up near redline I can't say it is "loud", throaty and deep, but not loud. When I first did my swap, I let my friend thrash on my car (EH2 in my sig) in an empty parking lot. I stood off to the side of the lot to see how loud it was. I swear I hear more engine noise than exhaust noise.
Maybe hgem1si can tell you how the ES sounds at these rpm.

Re: (mcvtec)
I would definately say the WS2 between the ranges of 1-3 1/2 RPM would be the most quiet. I have the resonators and a cat but still, I hear my engine like MCvtec said, more than I actually hear the muffler. Unless I got through a tunnel I really cant hear it.

Re: (JerkDC2)
Run w/o resonators the WSII seems to be much louder, w/ resonators the WSII seems to be running more quiet.
Hope that clears up some confusion.
