so im looking at buying a set of RPF1s for my 99 si and im going 15x7 +35 with 205/50/15 bridgestone re-11. will there be any issues with break clearance or rubbing of the fenders and will i need to roll the fenders. the car is daily driven and is on stock wheels and as it sits now there are no rubs with just me in the which is how i like it. i have tein coilovers and camber with the car sitting low enough to sure up the wheel gaps and slightly tucking but not slammed. there is alot about fitting these wheels on earlier model civics, but nothing for the em1. any help is appreciated

It might rub just a TAD on the fender if your hitting a bump.

A +35 wheel will push the tire outside the wheel well line a little. First wheel I tried on my '93 civ coupe was +38 and I sent it back. Ended up with a +40, but even that sets up right at the edge of the body. I have a set of +42mm offsets ready to go on my del Sol project.

I don't know if the +35 would stay away from the fenders in a good compression.

i am looking to get a set of k1's in +35 offset with a 7 inch wheel. i was told i can run a 205 tire no problem, also a 215.

my friend has +35 on his ITR with a 215 tire and hes perfectly flush, no fender interference.

Your best bet is to roll the inner lip on the fender just a little for turning radious, but dont go crazy on it unless you want to crack and chip the paint. But if it still rubs which i doupt you might have to go 195/50/15

there should not be any problems with brake clearance, no questions. the other depends on how low your car is. the lower it is the more likely you are to rub. +35 offset is not bad at all, im running that on my car lowered 2.5" up frint and hardly ever rub. to be safe i would run a 195/50/15 tire to add some more clearance.

i really want to stay with the 205 tire. for a college student a $1400 wheel and tire setup is all the money i have and dont have if you know what i mean. im looking at it from this standpoint; i want want improvement in handleing over looks and i chose the rpf1 for the $, color, weight. i really want to justify that $ with an improvement in handling. but who knows, i could be wrong. the difference in the 205 compared 195 may be negligible for the same tire, i dont know

fwiw, I have a 00 si and I'm running a larger wheel then ur rpf1's, wider wheel and sounds like I might be a little bit lower. I have no rubbing issues so I don't think you will either. I have 16x8's +34 offset and I'm on coilovers lowered about 2.75 all around if not more. I pretty much tuck most of the sidewall of the tire. You said you have adjustable camber so you might have to tuck the wheels in just a hair. As long as your toe is aligned you should see improved handling with little to no abnormal tire wear.
