Default Adjusting the Timing....and...adjusting the gas pedal

Hey guys, i'm kinda new to all this...but i just swapped out a motor and now i need to adjust the timing....not sure how to do it...any info would help..

Also, after the swap, my gas pedal is out way to far, how do i adjust it back to the normal position??

i suggest picking up a helms. its much easier to read and follow along than having someone try and explain it. its nothing hard, but you will constantly be using the manual. possibly the best $15 you can spend on your car.

agree get a manual. Why do you need to adjust your timing for a swap. You need to jump the service connector and move the distributor, i can't remember if there is anything else, searching should result in more help.

The throttle cable is just two nuts and its threaded, loosen it up and move it til the cable is tight. If that doesn't work, you might have to only use one of the bolt holes on the bracket to get it tighter. Or get a new cable, again searching your swap setup might result in more help.

A Helms isn't $15 though...more like $60-70.
