AC Help Needed!

AC Help Needed!
I have a 1996 Civic EX and recently replaced all of the major ac components (compressor, dryer, condensor, evaporator, expansion valve). The system was filled with oil when the parts were replaced and was then evacuated and then charged. The ac doesn't get very cold and the pressure on the low side continuously fluctuates between about 20-30 psi and 50 psi with the engine at idle. The compressor doesn't cycle on and off but stays on and seems to remain constant. I don't feel like this is normal, but I'm not sure what the problem is and need some help.
Also, after the engine is revved the pressure in the compressor will spike to about 70 psi causing the compressor to click off for just a second and then kick back on. What could be causing the pressure to continuosly fluctuate like that? And what would cause the pressure to spike like that? Any help is greatly appreciated. Thanks!

Re: AC Help Needed!
What's your pressure on the high side of the compressor? If that 70psi is on the low side, you may be OVER-pressurized. If it's on the high side, you have problems with either your compressor, or orifice, as it should be over 200.

It's on the low side, but it only hits 70 psi after I rev the engine. When the engine is at idle the low side pressure fluctuates from abou 20-30 psi to about 50 psi.
