99 Si P1259 False Error?
Yesterday while I was on the freeway merge, I decided to hit VTEC in first gear and I sort of accidentally went to 8400 ish with my JDM B16A. For some strange reason, I got the P1259 right after. This is only my second time I have exceeded the 8200 redline, and the rev limiter didn't come on or anything.
The strange thing is, the car felt fine, the VTEC system seemed to be working and all that on the freeway merge yesterday. Anyways, after the check engine light, I noticed that VTEC was still engaging at 5200 RPM, but would get rev limited at 6800.
Today I took off the VTEC solenoid and checked it out along with the gaskets. The connectors are clean, and there is no gunk in the solenoid gasket mesh, so I proceeded to put it back together and cleared the check engine light. After that, I went to take the car for a spin on the freeway merge again, VTEC kicks in strong as usual at 5200, and I drove it to about 8200 RPM for 4 gears. Everything seems fine, the power is there, and there is no sluggish feel. Could this be a false error code? I know that if it isn't a false error code, it should come back again. I have Googled this error code btw and have that diagnostic instructions from HELM on my phone ready to use in case it comes back, but would like to see if anyone has any ideas.
Thanks in advance.

Re: 99 Si P1259 False Error?
EDIT:
Also changed my VTEC solenoid gasket about a year ago, and it's still in good shape.
Oil was changed about 3-4 months ago, so that's not an issue either.
