Yea, my car use to do that!!!!! So since it like to do what it wanted...i took that bitch out of my car and put in an engine that would do what I wanted. lol ******* pansy Honestly i think its either the fuel ...its def not the dizzy or anything. no tranny....try fuel pump, injectore and filter...
your car will start right back up though...right? (mine did that, i would come off the high way...and it would die when i stopped....but always started right back up.) maybe like the guy said...its your idel screw...maybe your idel is WAAYY down. mine would go all the way tro like only 250rpms when i would stop and then just die...and lights would come on.

Yeah, try raising the idle. My Y8 did this, too, immediately after adjusting my valves. EXACT same symptoms as you're experiencing. Turned out the valve lash was way too tight. So I had to readjust them and redo the idle, and all was well.

first check ur battery, if you have a volt meter or DMM check the surface discharge...ur battery may be dirty, clean it from the top, check the water level, make sure its 3/8th full if it is, don't add anymore water it doesnt need to be filled to the top, if u do need water, used distilled water and not regular tap water. Also check if theres any corrosion on the ground and positive wires, u may have to replace those...if theres any corrosion on the battery posts brush it off with a wire brush or sand paper. If u done all this and still have a problem, u need a new battery, battery only last about six years or less before they have to be replaced no matter how *hi-tec* ur battery is....

Mines would only do that after I reset the ecu or disconnect the negative side of the battery. But after driving it for a few miles it becomes normal again. Never died on me again.

Like most people have said, check your idle. But also check the IAC valve, it might be sticky or worn out. My car had the same symptoms as yours after I hadnt driven it for a couple months. New IAC valve and the problem was solved.
