It's close to half an inch square, the Y8 tapers at the bottom, Y7 doesn't and wont line up correctly with a Y8 IM, unless the automatic Y8 IM is made different besides having the IACV mounting on the back blocked off.
Edit, the big hole in the top right corner of this picture. See how it tapers at the bottom? a Y7 doesn't.

Alright, been too busy working to even get the car rolling again. Waiting on a sensor to come in the mail. I think my friend said he has a y8 tb off an automatic, so hopefully i can just grab that from him. if not ill look into what i have to dremel. i don't really see what you mean, but i'll look at it myself when i get a chance.
