That sounds like good news ik I'm Gunna run into
Immobilizer issues but ik a good tech.
As far as if it has ex harness I hope that's the case
Ik it's been worked on but don't know extent.

I got the car for 300 and it has like no rust and a few dents
So it's worth it regardless but would love a Gsr civic

Well you said the ignition is trashed anyways just swap the whole steering column from the gsr into the civic and use the GSR key and ECU and that should solve the imobleizer too.......... two birds ONE stone...

An 01 gsr for this project. I'll post pics of everything
I'm working with so you can give me your opinion

I bought the gsr for 2300 and it didn't have any exhaust.
It ended up having a bad valve so I bought rebuilt head
With dual valve springs and type r cams.

It came with a title that I realized was signed in the kids name
Who I bought it from. Now I have almost 4gs into this thing(after head full comptech
Exhaust and towing)and I still haven't been able to meet with kid to get title out.

So that's my deal wait for title and keep an original 01 gsr
Or go all out with 99 civic ex

kinda made myself sad just now. I realized I havent driven this car but the ONE time back on 12/17/11 or something like that, the day i got it running... holidays and such have made her a garage *****, a deprived garage *****...

yeah i know it still has a LONG *** way to go but i am nit picky enough it will get there... its just something to tinker with though im in no real rush, just sits in my shop unless i have to move it out for a customer job for a few hours but then back in the shop.

So my update today is sorta lame but i got the old primer off the front bumper that was poorly done by someone else and washed the car and did a quick clean up of the Engine bay..
