96 civic CEL 41 problem
Hi,
I drive a honda civic 96 model. This morning I was running very low on fuel and i put the car off while at a traffic light. The road was uphill. Now when I started my car again i got a check light on. I later pulled the code and what i got was cel code 41 which i believe could be any of the following:
41 P0135 Front HO2S Heater Circuit Fault (Sensor 1)
41 P1166 Primary HO2S (No. 1) Heater System Electrical
41 P1167 Primary HO2S (No. 1) Heater System
Question is, how to I go about fixing this problem?
Thanks in advance. By the way the car runs smoothly.

Re: 96 civic CEL 41 problem
Thanks! I tested the sensor for resistance and nothing. I think the sensor has gone bad. Do they just go bad like that? Will be replacing the sensor later today. Will let you guys know how it goes. Again thanks a lot for the help!

Re: 96 civic CEL 41 problem
Hi,
I replaced the HO2S with a new one and everything is back to normal. I said earlier that the car was running smoothly but after putting in a new HO2S I noticed that the car's performance improved. Before the replacement stepping on the gas pedal just made the car accelerate slowly but after the replacement the car is more responsive.
Thanks for all the assistance!!
