Default 96-98 civ , 99-00 civ front end

I know the headlights, fenders are a different size, but what about the hood and bumper. Friend has a 98 and wants the 99-00 front bumper, 3 vent vs one vent will it fit or not. We don't have one to compare or i wouldn't ask.

The 99-00 bumper is gonna fit the 96's fenders' hood and headlights but the thing is they don't go all to well cuz the 99 one is a bit shorter... so the hood is gonna be over the grill instead of lining up with it and the headlights wont look all too nice becuz the 99 headlights are a different shape... lol it just looks stupid...

No. Otherwise what would be the point in doing a whole conversion?? The hood and fenders look the same... It's self explanatory that if you want the grill and bumper off a 99-00 you have to do a full conversion.

96-98 differs in headlights, grill, bumper, fenders and hood.

they also differ in climate control bezel, tail lights and rear bumper. anything else i'm missing?

Here's the answer. If you you want to do a 99-00 conversion, you 'll need the 99-00 headlights, fornt bumper, fenders and hood. I know because i just did it to my 96 ek.

The 1999-'00 has a little lip that juts out on the bottom. The '96-'98 just goes in at the bottom.
