I mean, I'm glad you're happy, but don't walk away feeling like you got a good deal, lol. OEM or not, you had to modify it to make it fit and you still paid $200. Regardless of the original list price, that's gouging.

Good to know you enjoy it, though

i Still think i did.....i got it cheaper..yea alittle work..but..there is no other way to to get something like this from 12 years later to fit with out modifying it....Its a great deal worth every penny...Would do it again..Dont see anything wrong with making things work wen they are not supposed to.....

The exhaust piping is 2.25 inches. Many 06-07 Si owners have swapped out their intakes. You can probably pick one up for cheap. Although, they may not sell the cat for cheap.

Um, generally OEM quality is WAY better than a LOT of aftermarket quality. Honda's standards regarding what they'll put the Honda name on is a lot different than no-name aftermarket stuff.

OEM > ebay mufflers, no doubt.

Apexi WS2 here. There are non-OEM muffler that sound mellow and offer quality, like mine.

I mean, but even if you wanted an ebay one, they are copies of real ones, right? Although they probably rust and crack like ****, they probably perform/sound like the ones they copy...for while

If I have a situation that I need to replace my WS2, and my only choices are either some Autozone/Ebay N1 rip-off fart cannon or OEM...I'll go with the fart cannon.

Mugen Twinloop here (on EM1). Preaching to the choir about quality--it's a friggin' museum piece that sounds perfect..

I'm sure that HFP setup is right up there in terms of quality/finish.

so you paid 200 for the tip, and 130 for the piping? thats pretty decent. I wonder if its worth it to put this on a turbo'd setup?

Well its not really a tip..The muffler(exhaust)had piping(factory from honda...reallll nice and shinny..lol..)and it was almost half way through my car...it was about 4ft long straight across.....so it wasnt TOOO much piping..more labor than anything..

hmm ok cause right now im looking at the muffler and si piece for the tip on http://www.hondaautomotiveparts.com and its 180 without shipping. Looks nice for a stockish look!! might have to consider this! only thing will be on a turbo set up with 2.5 piping...
