Default 94 Civic D15B JDM Swapped First Time Start, Nothing?

Hey everyone
Hope this is in the right forum...

I recently swapped a D15B into my 94 coupe. This is my first honda engine swap and found it to be simple enough.
There was one or two sensors witch shared the same plugs but I figured out there proper places..
So I filled it up with oil, anti freeze ect ect and checked all my connections ect.
Today it was about -5 Outside, decent so I figured Id try and start her today. I installed the new fuel line and warmed the engine bay up with a space heater. I depressed the clutch slapped it in neutral to and turned the key and...
Click. Everything died.
At first I couldn't even get power going to anything and it really stumped me. When I got out I noticed the back license plate light was still on and basically the only thing showing any functionality after the loud click. I checked all my main fuses and fuse box and everything seemed to be fine. I ended up removing the battery and cleaned up around the car. I put the battery back in and everything lights up again. Now Im scared to turn it over again in case that click is a ground gone wrong or something.
I have 2 engine grounds connected.. One from the valve cover and one near the starter. Is this okay?

Anyone have any ideas or any tips for first time running an engine after swap?
I do have an alarm installed but currently I only hooked up the horn shock sensor and the alarm horn. I have yet to install any relays or anti theft controls until I get it started.

Also, would it start without an o2 Sensor? I think the sensor I might have is bad. But if it is would it still start and just idle funny or something?

Thanks everyone!

It should still start without the O2 sensor.

Hopefully the alarm's immobilizer isn't interfering.

Yes sir!
The click I herd almost sounded from myside of the dash. What do you think it could have been? It honestly cut all power to dash everything until I removed the battery and put it back in. Is there a relay that would trigger like that?

Thanks everyone!!

Alright a little update...

After cleaning up the wiring for the alarm and stuff like that it finally turns over!
But I cannot get it to start. It was a running pull from a friend and All I changed was the oil filter. I was going to change thermostat/spark plugs and all that but I honestly figured it came out running it should go back in running so I didn't bother.

It has been a little cold around here so hopefully on Tuesday when it goes in the + I can get it to start.
The turn over is strong seems to have good compression..
If anyone has any first time running tips or things I should look over please let me know

I'll let you know what happens.

Thanks everyone

I figured I'd also add...
The only part I replaced on the engine was the Throttle body with new sensor and the Distributor because he took the original... Now I sent the engine at TDC as much to my knowledge and put it on. I was going to switch it 180 Degrees until I read somewhere that the distributor wont go on wrong. They said the cam shaft and distributor have a line up that will only let it go on one way. I never noticed this during install and my engine is a JDM.. Do you think I might not have this line up hole on my camshaft?

Thanks everyone

did you connect the two wires that go connected to the fuse box by screws....is the wire that goes connected to the starter by a 10mm and is covered by a dust cap connected....that has positive 12+ .

one of those two could caused the click(or spark)

Hey 95Civic, thanks for the reply!

Yeah that's all connected... Those 2 main wires into the main fuse box are required to even get power into the car.. The starters 12+ is also connected and it's turning the engine over now so that's all gravy.
I think I can get it to start now just need a warm day and time to run a few tests...
I haven't even checked spark yet :S So cold outside. Tomorrow I will test my spark and drain my fuel lines once more.

Thanks!!

Little update for today...
SO I figured out my fuel pump isn't even turning on! I swear to god I felt the line the first time I turned the key to on and it was hard as a rock. But I guess Im just dreaming.
Im going to go get a volts meter and test if Im even getting 12+ with key on at the plug. Im also pulling the pump and checking its integrity. It had a brand new cover plate on it and under it was covered in filth and leafs and stuff :S

My question is the car has been sitting for half the winter. I added some gas line anti freeze to what was left in the tank and 10L of fresh gas.
Do you think the pump could be frozen? Its not even making a sound when I set the key to on. Same with turn over.

Any ideas?

Thanks!!!

Also check for power to and from the main relay. Are any fuses blown?

Thanks for the response Ron!

Im actually checking google for any relays/fuses that control the fuel pump.
Do you know where they are?
I don't even have my fuse panel door anymore... I just finished copying one by pen off the internet haha

Fuses blown? no but some are missing... Now I don't know if these are blanks until I go compare this list so I'll brb..

If anyone knows where any relays/fuses are for the pump let me know

Thanks everyone!!!

Check fuse 31 under the hood and fuse 18 under the dash.

Regarding main relay:

Update...

RonJ@HT thank you very much!

I located a blown 7.5 in the main fuse box beside fuse 31. Or maybe when I drew my diagram I skipped a fuse but yeah the 7.5 was blown. I didn't have a 7 so I put a 10 in. Set key to on and boom fuel came poring out the line. I reconnected the fuel rail and turned it over for about 5 seconds and it fired right up. Idle is ruff without the exhaust/o2 sensor hooked up but Im glad shes running.

Thanks to everyone who pitched in and helped out

Boost project coming for spring
