93 EG Odd Popping/Creaking Noise
Well, this has me stumped, replaced both CV Axles, ball joints have no play. Outer tie rod looks fine, but on the right hand side anytime turning left or right and when applying breaks theres a creaking popping sound, recorded a clip for youtube, pardon the fact its looking at the right front LCA, just incase it was the rubber worn out, but in the video as you can see no bad movement.
Anyone got ideas? Doesn't sound like a top mount either..

Ok, when you press the brakes, the noise occurs?
Check for play by:
Lifting the front of the car
Grab either left/right wheel @ the 12 and 6 o'clock position
Move back and forth
Also have someone apply the brakes while you're under the car or the area where the noise is occurring.

Your 93 is a CX/DX/VX/LX/EX/Si?
Hatch/Coupe/Sedan?
Stock or non stock?
Does your nondescript 93 civic have power steering?

Also greased up the sway bar poly bushings, and it seemed to of helped but I think thats because it quieted down the noise vibrating threw the car.

Yeah, the way the outer tie rod (AKA tie rod end) attaches to the knuckle, it could make a popping noise if it were failing.
There's an easier way to figure this out, though. Find a friend. Get the front end on jack stands. Figure out which side the noise is coming from. Take the wheel off that side, have the friend turn the steering wheel back and fourth while you pinpoint the noise. Getting eyes on it is going to be the best way to figure it out, since there are multiple places that the same noise could be coming from.
