93 CX Hatch to save or not.................
Trying to decide if i should bring this hatch back to life or just keep it as my DD, and find something else??
Picked this up for $200 plus $200 to the tow yard to get it out after it had been stolen. It was minus the hood, door, bumper and other misc. but as you can see that has all been replaced, just w/ the wrong colors. I got it after my VTEC Sol was totaled, w/ the police knocking on my door. "Son, do you kow where your Honda is"
Needs a new core support, frame pulled, all front lights (nails for tabs in the corners ) rear bumper, rear passenger tail, lower center console, rear speaker covers, drivers side door trim pieces, has rust, dents etc........ Worth saving or just keep it as a daily driver?

You can see the body........
Needs work! haha needs paint, and lots of TLC.
No other current projects. Either this and another DD, or this as my DD, and something else as a project.

You've got the motor and brakes. At least swap those items.
If anything I'd get a "Type R Style" lip kit, "Spoon Style" duckbill, "Spoon Style" mirrors, and paint it.

Are you guys missing this though~
"Needs a new core support, frame pulled, all front lights (nails for tabs in the corners ) rear bumper, rear passenger tail, lower center console, rear speaker covers, drivers side door trim pieces, has rust, dents etc........"~
Every panel has some issue, dent, crease, rust..........
Hell I forgot to mention that the bumper is zip tied on!!
I don't know, I'm **** as hell, and this thing is going to take a whole hell of a lot.
Confused

Wait were you saying that the Del sol needed to have the frame pulled or the hatch needs it. I dont really see anything wrong with the front of the hatch but i may not be looking hard enough. If the hatch is straight frame wise, I wouldnt see why you couldnt just fix her up. If the hatches frame is bent a little I think I would still probably fix her up.

No... The hatch needs all that. The del is now living in the dump. She was alittle cut up.
The core support is mangled bent and Certi-Fit to boot. To get the metal bumper on I had to beat the support out, and that's why the bumper cover is zip tied; the support is that mangled that I can't get the cover on correctly to meet the fender holes.
I don't know for fact that the frame is bent, but it has some good indicators, and it's appearent that it was half *** fixed from a previous wreck.
The rear was wrecked also.
The rear metal bumper isn't even a bumper; it's tubular steal that was welded together and bolted on w/13/16 bolts through the original bumper holes.
