so last night my buddy blew his si up put hole trew the block. so anyway i am swaping the engine for him he thinking about buying a k24a4 i have never swaped k sereis only b series, is there anything i should know about this swap, and are these a good engine cause ive heard bad and good.the car is a 2000 civc em1 all stock and the car is a daily driver and he doesnt want to spend to much on the swap

Swap something else. You need a K24A2 with a K20 head. Also, it costs 2-3k for the K swap parts.

do not swap a k if you dont want to spend a lot of money. the k24a4 is not a particularly good engine in stock form.

Then how about swapping a B20block mated with a B16-SI head? All the components will be there already, little will be spent.

LMFAO i so thought that said KA24DE out of the s13, i was about to say, HOLY ****! ******* nice. My buddy is working on getting a kA24det into his em1, and try and make it all RWD to start drifting it. It's pretty interesting
