1998 Civic EX - crank, no start condition..HELP!
About two months ago my civic cut off while I was driving. The motor would turn over but wouldn't start. After some troubleshooting, found out I wasn't getting spark. I purchased and installed new, clear, distributor (JEGS) and it ran fine. Since then I have also gotten a new battery.
A couple days ago same thing happened, I was driving and the car just stalled and left me stranded. I had the car towed back to my house, and now I have NO idea what is wrong.
I have power and spark. Fuel pump fuse is good and I can hear it turn on. Main relay clicks when I turn the battery on. I sprayed fuel in the intake while turning it over and it kinda burped but wouldn't start.
Anyone know what else it could be?

Where do you have spark, at the plugs? If so, what color is the spark? Are you getting pressure at the rail? If those check out, compression test your engine. Spark, fuel, compression and timing. Heed those words my friend.

I can see sparks in my distributor, because its clear. I just thought that meant I had spark to the spark plugs.
How do I do a compression check?
