1993 Civic Coupe Build
Building this car for a fun little car to run around in on the weekends and Autocross once a month with my local chapter of SCCA. Picked it up like this:
Guy I cot it from installed a B18B1 and a GSR tranny with a LSD. Had a one piece header, full Meagan Exhaust, AEM CAI, some type of ceramic clutch and a few other little things that I thought were good ideas. Engine bay looked like this:
It had some Del Sol seats in it when I got the thing so I quickly found some 2000 Si seats. Also needed more meat on the road so i sourced these TR motorsports C1M's with 245/40/15 Hankook R-s3's. Felt way better than the Si wheels.
The suspension will be my main focus. The car came with an almost complete turbo kit but I think I want to stay N/A for Autocross. It already has sportline springs, KYB shocks and struts, every brace you can put on it, rear lower and upper control arms, camber adjustable A-arms up front, but it will need coil overs right away. I already picked up a Progress suspension 24m adjustable rear sway bar and will decide about coil overs this week.
I'm new to the honda world so any tips or info is appreciated.

Yeah, sorry. 225/45-15's. On a 15x7.5. The exhaust is a bit obtrusive. I'm looking for something that will work well and have a lower profile.

Re: 1993 Civic Coupe Build
Picked up a few parts this weekend that will be my projects for the week. Will try and order Coil over system tomorrow if I can decide on the one I want. I found an arm rest E-brake cover that mine does not have. Guy wanted a $20 bill for It so why not....
The sway bar is my main goal to install and set up this week. Hope to get rid of the old Si wheels to make some room around here. Pretty sure I'm go N/A as well. Boost will be too much for a tight Autocross course. We shall see....

What makes you think boost is "too much" for a tight autox course? A small turbo with quick spool would be your new best friend on a tight track, as long as you know how to handle it properly.

Re: 1993 Civic Coupe Build
I'm not sure on what the console is out of but it fits perfect and looks factory on my 93 DX center console. @jbpnoman, I have since decided to do just that, a small turbo. A guy I know in SCCA here in GA has a larger turbo on his B20 powered EG hatch, and he can't control it at the Hutchison Island course but on Robling Road the thing screams! That was my initial hesitation with boost. I have since studied enough on here and have come up with a plan for boost in the near future. Thanks for the compliments guys. The rain kept me from doing too much today as I had some parts to clean and repaint but it will be back together tomorrow and I will have updates ASAP.
