How the HECK do i convert my Hydrolic transmission to cable transmission?

i have looked on sites as well as this one but none were solved.

Now after that, i have no clue what else i need, i thought i had everything needed to convert it.

Im not entirely sure that switching hyrdo to cable is a good thing. Its like switching comcast to dial up. No go.

thats true... only thing to worry about in a tranny is gear ratios

would you take a 1983 honda prelude motor that is duel carb and put it in your car? Its a rule that you shouldn't take a motor (or transmission) that is older than your car and replace it. Although my buddy put a duel cam zc (1989)and put it in his 96 civic sedan. It works and its decently quick but the process that he had to go through to make everything compatable was unbearable. He spent a boatload of money to make it work and its just as fast as my motor...which i spent not a lot of money on.

I know a couple people who are running ls vtec's and the honda civic si transmission works good. Being that it has close gearing and lsd! and less headache haha

welcome, correct me if i'm wrong but if you have the mounts on the way, you should just need the cable clutch pedal, the bracket for the cable clutch adjustment, and the cable itself correct? i've never done the conversion personally just putting some ideas out there.

oh yeah and let's see the pictures, and some pictures of the car

1. Welcome to the site.
2. To the other members, please no leghumping.
3. Why would you want to convert to cable? Cable trannies are getting more and more scarce and usually they all gring in 3rd gear.
