How to identify 8th gen HFP suspension?
Greetings,
I just purchased a 2006 ASM Si coupe. It appears to be lower than stock and the handling is sharp. So far, so good. What I'm trying to figure out is if it has the HFP suspension option. When I had it up on the rack the suspension appeared to be OEM. However, it did come with the HFP front/back lip and skirts. I've been searching around for some time, but I can't figure out a way to identify HFP suspension by sight. Is there a part number showing somewhere on the springs/shocks that I might be able to verify? Perhaps a nut size might help with identification? Maybe there is a difference in the unsprung length? The 8th gen Civic is a new car to me, as I'm used to the EM1/EGs and DCs.

I would like to know this as well, I wish to equip my FA5 with the HFP system....anyone have an answer here?
I figure that if it looks stock, but sits lower than stock ( say around 1" of fender gap ), it probably is.
Could you post pics?

the drop isn't going to give you 1" of fender gap that is for sure... you are looking at a 1" drop from stock height!
To gain 1" of fender gap you will need a coilover.
