help help !Turn signals come up when braking
Hello all,
Help Needed, when I press on the brake the front/rear turn lights would light up along with the brake lights in the back... and when you turn the turn signal lights on without the brake pressed they work fine, but if you press the brake well they are blinking they will stay on solid and bolth turn lights in the cluster light up also...
Also, I was driving in the highway and I noticed that when it is on cruise if I turn the turn signals on the cruise control is deactivated !
I had a mechanic to take a look at it and he told me the fuse box needs to be replaced ! What is your idea?
Thanks

Did anyone have the same problem? it is really annoying, I have shown it to another mechanic today he said it is not the fuse box and he couldn't figure out what the problem is !!

Re: help help !Turn signals come up when braking
Issue may possibly be a short at one of the following:
- MICU (built into the under-dash fuse/relay box).
- wires running along the left side harness or at a 14-P white connector behind the left C-pillar. Wires for the brake light circuit and the rear turn signal light circuit may possibly be touching and back-feeding the turn signals.

Thank you tech8
If the problem is MICU, Do I need to replace the whole fuse box? if yes, can I do it myself? I was searching for that on internet some say programming is needed !?
I greatly appreciate your help.
