So im from canada to start with. a place where the temp stays below 0 deg's for a few months.. with a 2007 civic lx 5 spd/
so my car battery died in the middle of jan, replaced it and i have been driving the car now for over 1000 km. i need to take this thing in for a e-test by the 23rd of feb. since the 1st of feb all but 1 monitors have been ready. i have read that this is one of the hardest ones to get set. one of the problems i have been facing is in the manual it says the temp has to be above 0 deg's for it to start the test. only thing is where i live its been -10 and colder for the past month.. today and tomorrow are +2 and +3. i have filled the gas tank and am hoping for it to set..
worst case if this doesnt happen, any one have any tricks to get this to happen quicker? i have also read that a HDS can force the car to do the tests. that being said does anyone know if this unit can do that?

i really just want to get this done before my sticker runs out and i have to let the car sit until it get warm out.. kinda a shitty deal on hondas end. anyone with some help???

just a bit of a bump and update. i have ordered the HDS unit off ebay and it will be here around march 7th. i have been city driving and highway driving and still no luck of it setting. i will post my findings once ive got to my next step.
