Black grease in moonroof track?

Black grease in moonroof track?
I went in the garage today to lubricate the moonroof tracks in my Honda for the first time. I had my white lithium spray can ready, but when I looked at the tracks, there was a black, extremely viscous grease! I decided to wait until I found out what it was.
So... what is it? Should I clean the tracks and use white lithium, or buy some of this black grease?

I dont reccomend using white lithium spray, it tends to get tacky and collect dirt. A good thick grease is Dow Corning 111, and Honda Urea grease always works well.

The black grease on the track is pretty filthy with debris. I am a huge proponent of regular lubrication by purging old grease and replacing it.
I dunno, something about it just puts my mind at ease.

It's the lubricant. I have similar grease on my moonroof mechanical tracks, but the grease is white. I think it's just whatever they used at the time. It's supposed to be like that I think.
I think in order to properly lubricate it you'll have to put grease on both sides of the track which is hard to do if you don't take anything off. I don't know if you can get your fingers on the outside of the track if you want to clean your grease and apply new one.

...almost done.
There is white lithium around the moving joints, but this black grease is on the track. I wanna replace it because there are chunks of debris in it. And no, the black grease is not just dirty white lithium.
Does anyone know the name or type of grease it is?
