Re: US 2012 Civic sedan!!!
meh, i was hoping for the hatchback they were showing that will probably be the Si/TypeR model in Europe.
The new couple should've been brought out as RSX part deuce and the sedan looks like a 90's Accord. Unless performance is extremely better I'll just wait for the cool kids to trade their current models in so I can get a '10 or 11.

I can't lie, I really can't. I'm feeling that Sedan. This coming from a guy who most truly and honestly believes the 6th gen Si was the best civic Si ever.

Re: US 2012 Civic sedan!!!
it's sad that i'm more interested in what motor this car is running
so i can decide whether or not to put it into my ep3 hatch
i want something 6spd with more hp and better fuel economy than my dumb 5spd k20a3
i just think these newer honda's are getting ugly....
might just be me
don't flame me for it everyone has an opinion
they need to bring the rsx back and a convertible (s3000?)
and a 2dr hatchback civic
i personally don't like fits. the cr-z is pretty from the front ugly from the back

Those are still concept cars. Are the final production versions gonna look like that? Or is Honda gonna un-pimp them in looks like they usually do from concept to production version.

i prefer the current gen but this might grow on me. i know more than half the people in this forum didn't like the 8th gen either when it first came out.

i think it looks awesome, i am really looking forward to seeing all of its specs in the coming months, and what options are available. you think honda will ever give forced induction as a factory option?

You can see which direction Honda is going? Maybe not as they seem to be lost in all directions, IMO. Where Honda is going is fuel efficiency. And it failed so far with half-baked products (hybrids) that just not on par with the competition.

And then comes the million dollar question......how much is this baby gonna weigh? Is Honda finally gonna tip the 3000lb. mark on their Civics? I hope not!

sometimes i feel betrayed but hey can't knock their hustle and trying to be economy cars. just have a feeling the k-series is the last potential motor we'll ever get.

why would you want the rsx back? the 8th gen si is cheaper and has more features.

Re: US 2012 Civic sedan!!!
Honestly, if the plans for the CR-Z to be turbocharged are real, the Civic Si might have a turbo I4 also. Honestly I'd prefer a high-revving NA something-or-other, but turbo would be neat.
I just want a CTR in the states this time. I'm a ricer, I WANT RED SEATS and champ white!

Re: US 2012 Civic sedan!!!
Our correspondent exclusively in Japan, John Paul Vizioli, just catch the first units of vacating the premises Civic 2012 Honda at Suzuka. He said the car should be going to the U.S., since there are some units of the Fit Insight and also in their North American versions in the cart.
The new 2012 Civic will come to Brazil, but it is believed here that he will have some visual differences, becoming more like the City, seeking to achieve the more conservative buyer who is a fan of the Corolla.
