They saved about 3million in licensing since they used GM for the bulk of the cars. Peterbuilt(sp) I think is associated with GM if not, GMC, Hummer, Chevy, and Pontiac of course are. And note yes i'm a geek and yes the main actors have signed on to do 2 sequels however Micheal Bay has not signed on and the writers are working on Star Trek XI?!?!?! (sorry but Star Trek blows) But if you see the movie wait for the credits Starscream flies off into space, there will be a sequel just maybe not as good as the first...Ok my geek rant is over.

just checked my closest walmart after seeing the film for the second time (hard to see it again oddly)

No luck. Not even one from the 'alternator' line. No places on the shelves for them either.

To those that have them: Where in the toy section were they? The transformer items were a bit sprawled as they had a few displays

well i had found mine ona pallet at wallmart it was still in the case lol there was only one in the case i hear teh civic is like 1 or every 5 cases or so

When I heard about rumble being an SI I immediately pre-ordered it from a local toy store. Received it in march I think. When I got it, I tore the package apart, made him into robot form, looked at it for 2 minutes and put him back as an SI and haven't touched it since haha. It looks good sitting on a shelf as the car.

Hey, Rumble was awesome, despite his Napoleonesque attitude. He annoyed me, but kept me entertained when I was a kid. Kinda like Gilbert Gottfried - annoying but entertaining.
