Default TOTALLED fg... pix and remorse

So I was drivin home from the grocery store this morning when I hydroplaned into a ravine & flipped the civic upside down in a creek. Probably one of the most horrifying experiences I've ever had. Worst part was when the car settled it was upside down & I had to release myself from the seatbelt onto my busted sunroof & flowing creek water... then of course I had to bust out my window with my feet to get out.

Only thing goin through my head the whole time was that f**king scene from fast and furious tokyo drift when his car flips & it blows up Overall tho I practically walked away unharmed, just a few cuts & bruises here and there. I've yet to believe it actually happened tho. I really feel like this is an incredibly vivid dream.

That's the funny thing. Last night and into the early morning we had thunderstorms. That mixed with the early morning dew just added to the event but by the time the wrecker got there and I started takin pics the sun had been out drying up all the moisture. I kinda wish I woulda stayed in the grocery store a little bit longer... HA!

edit: screw being nice. blueintegraboy, you gotta lot of nerve callin me out tryin to front me out & call me a liar. wth did I do to you kid?

Glad you're okay.

Looks like the Civics handle rollovers pretty well judging by the fact that it doesn't even look like the car was rolled/flipped other than the busted sunroof.

+1 for Honda safety!

Yea it kinda just looks like a small tree fell on the front of the car. Glad to know my car is safe.

yea I guess I shoulda took a couple pics of it while it was upside down in the creek.

One thing I was disappointed in was the airbags didn't deploy. But then again there was no real sudden impact other than the car rolling onto its side then to the roof. The frame just seemed to suffer cosmetic damage. Frame wasn't bent or broken in any way. Just so you guys know. Whenever our type of cars are rolled, no matter what minor extent of damage, the car is filed as totalled. Just future reference if you guys ever get involved in one of these.

edit: lookin into anothe Honda for sure, not 100% decided on which one. possibly and Accord. Maybe even an Acura RSX. Whatever I get I'm keeping it as my dd. Then I'll be purchasing a 240sx I'm lookin at as my project car

He's got alot of nerve for remarking on the fact that the ground looks entirely dry in your pictures? You took to the defensive fairly quickly. Maybe the ground wasn't so wet when you wrecked. Unless the responders took longer than a few hours to get you out, which is highly unlikely. Hydroplaning requires standing water. The road isn't even wet.

He didn't remark with malice, merely stated a fact. He didn't call you a liar, you did.

Que angry rebuttal.

He was defensive quickly?! Is he supposed to wait a week before responding to blueintegraboy's ridiculous statement. I believe him, that it took a long time before the tow truck actually arrived, got his car out, and flipped back onto it's wheels. And, how can you tell the roads are dry? Can you feel them through the picture.

Whether the roads were wet or not, he made a mistake and lost control of his car. (not calling you out cashdealer07; it happens)

Show some compassion, and stop trying to be such a hard ***. The important thing is, he's okay.

Yeah. Remember "Not Another Teen Movie"....where Kyle Cease keeps trying to start a slow-clap at the wrong moments and keeps embarrasing himself??........Well that's exactly what your comment reminds me of.

That's not a comment you make when one of our own accidentally totals his car.

FAIL! GOODBYE!
