Default Synthetic Oil for how long?

How many miles do you use per each synthetic oil change?
Instruction saids between 10K to 12K... And do you keep the same oil filter for that long?

As far as I understand, synthetic will hold up longer than traditional oil, so you can run it longer like you said. But the oil filter will still need to be replaced every 3k to filter out any contaminants/particles.

I still change every 3k. They say you can go 5k without a service on synthetic.

If your car is still under warranty, follow what Honda says.

i wouldn't run it for over 5k...i use Amsoil 5w30, and after like 5k, the oil is black...and you don't want your oil to be black...you want it to be brownish color when you change it..

I'm sure Hondas maintenance minder isn't going to do you wrong on the oilchange thing. They don't use synthetic yet your oil light doesn't come on until 5k+.

I'm sure Synthetic will last longer [and that's what I use] but I change it when the oil life is at about 15%. I wouldn't recommend using ANY oil for 10,000-15,000.

You could go that long on non-synthetic oil ...

I personally think that if you're above 10% on any oil you shouldn't change it, period. Waste of money.
