Steering Issue
I noticed this last night while me and the gf were going out to look at what is around our new neighborhood before moving in (we were bored from all the furniture shopping so we just wanted to check out what was around lol)... Anyways...
I started her up and put her in first gear and just turned the steering wheel slightly... I still didn't release the clutch and press the gas and I heard this creaking sound. I didn't move put her in neutral and just turned the wheel right to left and it did that creaking noise again. It only does it when I'm parked and not moving. I don't hear it at low speed or high speeds.
2008 Si, 33000 miles on it... I still have a guaranty till 2014!
Any ideas?

Re: Steering Issue
if you have warranty i would bring it to the dealer. i think there is a TSB for bumpstops groaning. but anyway creeks and rattles are very hard to e-diag

Re: Steering Issue
Just an update
I brought my car in for an oil change at my friend's garage. He heard the noise and we double check. He told me that for sure it's not the rack and pinion which was basically my concern. So I will be bring it to the dealer for them to take care of the issue since it's still under guarantee!
